Where the Heidlohstraße runs today, a burial mound was built in the Bronze Age. After more than 2,000 years, the Saxons again used this burial mound, which they presumably regarded as a sacred site, as a burial place: they buried urns in the mound, including this small clay vessel in which a child may have been buried.
